 When I was in sixth grade, I decided that I wanted to try out for cheerleading. Try-outs came and went and I was a big DMS cheerleader! I was so excited and proud of my self. That summer I had to get a routine physical so I could attend cheerleading camp. During my physical, everything was going well until the doctor told me to bend over and touch my toes so he could check my spine. While I was bent over I remember him asking me if I was standing straight, and I told him I was. He felt of my back and said I needed to be sent for an xray of my spine. I was a little clueless as to what was going on but my mom was worried sick. After the xrays came back the doctor told me I had scoliosis. We went to Vanderbuilt to a specialist who could keep my scoliosis from getting worse. I was worried that this would stop me from being a cheerleader. The sprecialist at Vanderbuilt told me I needed to get fitted for a brace and if that did not help we would need to do surgery. The curve in my spine was 35 degrees and operations happen at 40 degrees. I started seeing Dr. Chad and after 3 months of chiropractic care was cure was 33 degrees it had actually gotten better!!  I was so excited about me not having to wear a brace ot undergo 9 hours of surgery. I have been a part of Life Source for 8 years and with every year I know my health is improving, I continue to cheer and have not been back to Vanderbuilt in 4 years.  For the first the first year of Luke's life he stayed on anitbiotics. He suffered from RSV, strep throat, and constantly had bilateral ear infections. We let our pediatrician talk us in to putting tubes in his ears, tubes did not help. Then our pediatrician wanted to take out his tonsils and we decieded we wanted to take a different approach. We started seeing Dr. Chad in Oct. 2001 and we noticed a huge difference in Luke's health! All the ear infections, strep thorat, and everything else he had suffered from were GONE! Ever since then Luke has not been to a medical doctor or had an antibiotic one!! We also made the decision to start our baby girl Emma under chiropractic care as soon as she was born. Luke is now 12 years old and is very healthy and very active in sports. Emma is 8 and has been perfect from day one!  When I first came to Life Source in March 2009, I did not realize how much it was going to change my life. During the entire month of February, I had battled headaches on a daily basis. A friend suggested that I may have something going on in my neck that was causing the headaches and referred me to Life Source. When I met with Dr. Chad to discuss my exam and xrays, it was very obvious that my neck was in need of serious attention. However, that was not the only issue that he addressed. He noticed on my medical history that I also had PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome). I had been diagnosed with PCOS in November 2008 after my husband and I had tried, unsuccessfully, for about 8 months to get pregnant. When I was told about the PCOS, my OB/GYN had told us that it would be difficult to get pregnant and that my options included different medications...including cholmid  (hormones). I am not one to take a lot of medications and was not willing to take hormones because of the effects they can have long term. We already have a beautiful daughter, so I was alright with having one even though we really wanted two. In my meeting with Dr. Chad not only did he tell me he could correct the problem in my neck, but he also said that a misallignment in my low back may be contributing to the PCOS...which meant that my PCOS may improve after adjustments. I started adjustments and therapy immediatly, and after a few visits, my headaches were completely gone! We made the decision that, as a family, we all needed to be a part of Life Source. So my husband and 4 year old daughter come on a regular basis as well. When my daughter Kayla starts to get a sniffle or a fever we take her straight to Dr. Chad and within 1-2 days the sickness is gone without antibiotics or medication.... and the best part... after only 2 months of chiropractic care and became pregnant with out second child Grayson. Life Source is our life choice...make it yours!       Stacey Dunn

Life Source has changed my family forever! In June of 2006 I brought my youngest daughter Teagan in. She was always having ear infections, croup, and her allergies were awful. She took medication and 4 breathing treatments everyday. She was a sick baby. Whe was about 15 months old. My friend had seen what all we had been going through and she told me what Life Source had done for her family, so at this point we were grasping at anything that might help her. So I thought we will give it a try. When she was adjusted for the first time I will never forget it, when we left her nose stopped running and she has been great ever since! She has been of all medication and breathing treatments since then. So when I learned what Life Source was about, me and my husband Jody and other two children Kaylin and Leighton started coming. I always had reoccuring bladder infections and when I started chiropractic care all the infections went and stayed away! I have learned so many things through the experiences with Life Source. I have learned to make better decisions with eating, exercising and not taking medication. We tell everyone we know about our experiences with Life Source! Our daughter Emma Lynn, was born with severe allergies, seasonal as well as some food allergies. She struggled with this until her second birthday, at which she was able to start taking medication for these problems. Between daily symptoms of head cold, she also had outbreaks of redness, swelling and whelps. Aside from the daily Zyrtec, we also averaged about one to one-half bottles of Beneydral every month just to keep her comfortable. We had spoke with her pediatrician many times about what our options were for Emma and the only thing he kept saying was that "she will grow out of this", "she's just a typical kid , they don't call them snot nose for nothing." Her peditrician wanted to scedule Emma to see a specialist and go through a series of "test", of which I heard were not pleasent. Before we went that rout, we asked him about seeing a chiropractor and he kept telling us that chiropractic is all mental, it's all in your head. My husband and I came to the decision we should try to see if a chiropractor would help Emma. Knowing that this was a pain free process, we knew that we owed it to her and if it didn't work then it was back to the drawing board. Her first appointment was June 4th and this is where it all begins! Remember how I told you how much Emma struggled with allergies and daily medications? Well, I want you to know since June 4th 2009 Emma has NOT had even one drop of medication! NOT ONE!!! She's able to play outside and we don't have to worry about her breathing or any allergies! She can't wait to see Dr. Chad because "he makes her feel better and gives her more energy!"
